1. Who we are

TestSnag is an automated testing platform provided by Owomi Technologies LTD ("we", "us") at testsnag.com. Owomi Technologies LTD is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the TestSnag websites, applications, APIs, and browser extensions.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: your name, email address, password hash, and account settings
• Billing information: plan, subscription status, and payment details, which are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers
• Test content: the tests you create, including URLs, request definitions, variables, scripts, uploaded files, and the screenshots, video recordings, logs, and reports your test runs produce
• Test inbox email: messages delivered to the managed test email addresses we provision for your account, so email-driven test steps can run
• Integration data: tokens and metadata for integrations you connect, such as Postman, GitHub, or Slack
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, device and browser information, IP address, and cookies needed to operate the service

3. How we use information

We use this information to:

• Provide, operate, and secure the service, including running your tests and storing their results
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Send transactional messages such as test run notifications, receipts, and security notices
• Provide support and respond to your requests
• Understand usage in aggregate to improve the product
• Enforce our terms, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations

4. AI processing

When you use AI-assisted features, the relevant test content and your prompts are sent to our AI model providers, such as OpenAI, to generate the response. Secret variable values are redacted before test definitions are shared with AI features wherever the product supports it. We do not use your content to train foundation models, and our providers are bound by their API data-use terms.

5. When we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf to run TestSnag, such as cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery and receiving, AI model providers, and error monitoring, and with integration partners when you explicitly connect them. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of TestSnag, our users, or the public.

6. Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. Test run artifacts such as recordings, screenshots, logs, and test inbox email are retained according to your plan and product settings and may be deleted on a rolling basis. When you delete your account we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it for legal, billing, or security reasons.

7. Security

We protect your data with industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, scoped access controls, and isolation of test execution environments. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your personal data we will notify you as required by law.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise most of these directly in the app, from your profile and account settings, or by contacting us. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

9. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the service to work, such as session authentication and CSRF protection, and to remember preferences like theme. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

10. International transfers

Our infrastructure and service providers may be located in countries other than yours. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses with our providers.

11. Children

TestSnag is not directed at children and may not be used by anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If a change is material we will notify you, for example by email or an in-product notice, before it takes effect. The date at the top shows when this policy was last revised.
